What does it do:
This contrib adds a CMS to OpenCart. Categories and Articles can be easily added for unlimited content pages. Unlike the normal information pages, the CMS articles can be categorized & sub-categorized for easy management.


Main features:

• Create Categories & Subcategories for Articles
• Comes with a sidebox module
• Includes support for SEO (pretty) links
• Links can be set to external links
• Completely self-contained code. Will not be affected by upgrades or break existing mods. Only the index & menu file changes for OpenCart.
• Shows brief article summary in category list with "read more" link for the full story
• Uses native styles to follow the theme of the cart.

How to install it:
1) Unzip and upload the contents to the root directory of your OpenCart installation, preserving directory structure
-- Only the admin menu.tpl file will be overwritten. However, it has support for all versions of OpenCart, as well as Import/Export module. Non-standard menus will only show if installed.
2) EDIT: index.php (in the root directory)

   FIND:
-------------------------------------------------------
$controller->addPreAction(new Router('common/seo_url'));

   AFTER, ADD:

$controller->addPreAction(new Router('common/cms_seo_url'));

3) Goto Admin menu 'Configuration->Users->User Groups'. Edit the Top administrator and check all unchecked boxes. Save.
4) From the admin menu, go to 'Extension->Module' and install & enable the CMS Categories sidebox.
5) From the admin menu, go to 'catalog->CMS' and begin creating categories & articles
6) After creation. Check the front page sidebox for your pages.


Additional Language Support

This contrib uses its own language files. It comes with english language files. You will need to translate those files to your language like any other translated file for it to work with different languages.
